Charlize killed it on the red carpet last night and she pulled off the nude look flawlessly. if you want to try and recreate this look at home it is pretty easy.
Step 1: prepping your skin, hydrate with your favorite moisturizer i have been using Nars moisturizer lately and been loving it.
Step 2: Use a primer to help hold moister in and help your foundation stay all day i like SmashBox photofinish primer.
Step 3: Time to apply your foundation, i would use liquid but if you have problem skin try a full coverage cream foundation. ” Liquid foundation i have been loving Face Atelier, and full coverage i love Dermablend.”
Step 4: set you foundation with a translucent powder around the Tzone and around the eyes.
Step 5: fill in brows with a pencil and brush through them to keep the soft looking and natural.” Try Anastasia of beverly hills Brow wiz they are awesome brow pencils.
Step 6: Apply an eye primer so it helps eyeshadow stick better and not crease. i have been using Urban Decay primer potion.
Step 7: apply a Shimmery color on the whole lid i LOVE the “Mac cosmetics pressed pigments they catch light beautifully on your eyes. then use a shimmer on the brow bone like shroom by MAC. and a light brown like swiss brown in the crease just to define the eye and below the lower lashes.
Step8: line the top lash line with a black liner, keep it thin and close to the lash line and you can wing it out if you like. l like gel liners “Bobbie brown or MAC or what ever works for you.
Step9: curl and apply mascara to both top and bottom lashes i have been using Clinique’s Mascaras and loving them. Always in Black
Step10: apply lashes its a Key step to get those full amazing lashes and there are so many amazing styles but its a must. i love “Ardell lashes and Eylure are the ones i usually go for”
Step11: apply another coat of mascara to combine your natural lashes with the false ones.
Step11B: This is an import step apply a nude color eyeliner in your water line. Chanel has a good one, its not white its skin color beige.
Step12: Contour the Cheeks, nose, forehead and jawline with a Matt bronzer i like Smashbox Matt bronzers.
Step13: apply shimmery blush on the apples of the cheeks i love the Chanel bronzers they have a nice shimmer to them.
Step14: apply highlighter to upper cheek bone and brow bone in a C shape. try MAC Mineralize skin finish.
Step15: Try a nude lip but with a punch. so look at your natural lip color and find a pencil thats a bit darker to give you a bit of a punch. Try Milani cosmetics great lip liner or MAC.
Step 16: find a matching lip stick or stain. i have been going for chub pencils by Clinique or Nars lip stick pencils.
Step 17: Gloss if you want
and Voila there is your perfect nude look
Her Hair:
Its all about Texture and color, her color has alot of Dimension which creates texture and compliments her cut so make sure when you get your color done to have Dimension and not just one flat color. Also to add texture with product try Rene Furterer stying waxes they have both Matte and shine finish. Work it in your hair and set the way you like to wear it.
